009 // Video

Soooooo... Is it just me or did everything, like, totally get all browny and stuff? I'm pretty sure my eyesight is fine... I think...

[Gasp.] Maybe this is a sign of what's to come?! Could this be a signal to go on a quest to collect all the primary colors of the rainbow and bring peace to Somarium? Like, I've already thought of three reasons why that could be:

One! Our energies are being absorbed by a rainbow wizard! Two! We've all been painted in our sleep! Or three! All the color got eaten by a platypus!

[Because those all totally made sense and that determined look on her face is totally serious... Really.

... Looks like someone here isn't as depressed as she was before.]

What do you think, guys?!

video.

.. You're kidding, right?

On a serious note, it's not just you, everyone sees it too.

[identity profile] ootorospring.livejournal.com 2011-04-10 12:40 am (UTC)(link)
Um... I doubt those would be the reasons.

[identity profile] linkings.livejournal.com 2011-04-10 01:55 am (UTC)(link)
[Oh Light, what are these theories?]

I... don't think it's any of those.
redcladidealist: (Whoa really?)

[personal profile] redcladidealist 2011-04-10 03:07 am (UTC)(link)
There's rainbow wizards? Really? [Lloyd hasn't heard about this!] Maybe the platypus belongs to them!

...um... what is a platypus?

video.

[Yes, Shinji, she's kidding and you should know that, so she won't answer that question.

Still the fact that there's a lack of color is rather troubling, nonetheless. Her expression becomes more thoughtful.]

I see... Honestly, I don't have a good feeling about this.

[identity profile] letalis-anima.livejournal.com 2011-04-10 04:55 am (UTC)(link)
Really? Suckitude. Here I was, thinking that I could have an epic battle against an evil palette-hating mastermind, or maybe a refracted-light-eating beast.

[identity profile] letalis-anima.livejournal.com 2011-04-10 04:58 am (UTC)(link)
[Awesome theories.]

Ohhhh, that's such a glummer-bummer. What do you think it might be? Rainbows going on strike for a higher salary? Radio waves causing everyone to go colorblind? Are we actually wearing sunglasses at night and were hypnotized to not notice?

[identity profile] letalis-anima.livejournal.com 2011-04-10 05:01 am (UTC)(link)
I dunno if they really exist, but anything's possible in a world of dreams, right?

[Well now, this was going to get interesting.]

A platypus is a really cool animal! It's this little brown thing that has a beaver's body and tail, a duck's head, and four webbed feet like a swan's!

[identity profile] unfearful.livejournal.com 2011-04-10 05:26 am (UTC)(link)
Ah, are you... serious?

[Lloyd grins at her description, which, honestly, sounds as fanciful as a rainbow wizard, but hey, he'll go with it, too! Like Minami said, anything's possible!]

Wow. I've never seen an animal like that. I wonder why it's all mixed up like that. Do you think maybe a duck and a swan had a kid, then it married a beaver and they had a kid?

[Yeah, someone hadn't been paying attention in school when the subject of cross-species breeding came up.]

HAHI! [ Haru looks shocked at the thought of a color eating platypus ] Can a platypus really do that?!

Um...I don't think so?

Although seeing a rainbow wizard would be pretty cool.

[identity profile] linkings.livejournal.com 2011-04-10 04:25 pm (UTC)(link)
[...Minami, your mind is a dangerous place if this is a normal occurrence. Naminé can't even tell if she's getting trolled or not at this point.]

...N-none of those?

[identity profile] egyptianupgrade.livejournal.com 2011-04-10 04:43 pm (UTC)(link)
It's kinda really weird.

[Sigh.]

But it sounds like weird things happening is pretty normal around here.

[...wait wat]

...Platypus? Do any even live here?

[While his expression suggests the words, 'don't be ridiculous', he chooses not to express his opinions on her wild, 'improbable' theories aloud. It wouldn't do to be rude to a young woman.]

You are not alone; I, too, have noticed this unusual change. Budding flowers have lost their vivid colour, but they do not otherwise appear unhealthy.

[She can be serious and logical... when she wants to be. Selective intelligence ftw.]

Really? Maaaaan, but there has be a reason for all of this...

[identity profile] letalis-anima.livejournal.com 2011-04-10 11:04 pm (UTC)(link)
When I was little, I heard this one story where a rat wished to have all those things, and ended up looking like what it does now because a goddess granted those wishes.

[She grins.]

Also, if you see one, watch out! Platypuses can have poisonous claws.

[identity profile] letalis-anima.livejournal.com 2011-04-10 11:06 pm (UTC)(link)
About everything looking brown? Yes~

[As for her crazy theories? That's a secret.]

[identity profile] letalis-anima.livejournal.com 2011-04-10 11:07 pm (UTC)(link)
Hmmm... Well, I dunno, but since this is a dream world, anything is possible. For all we know, the rainbow wizards made a color-eating platypus so they can harvest the color energies! Or something.

[identity profile] letalis-anima.livejournal.com 2011-04-10 11:08 pm (UTC)(link)
Ohh, that's shametastic. I'd love to go on an epic quest to collect all the colors and fight rainbow wizards.

[identity profile] letalis-anima.livejournal.com 2011-04-10 11:10 pm (UTC)(link)
You said so yourself, Yukari! In a dream world, anything is pos~ si~ ble~ That's like... the rules, you know? So that's why there's a chance that even a color-eating platypus is terrorizing this very city!

[identity profile] letalis-anima.livejournal.com 2011-04-10 11:12 pm (UTC)(link)
[Minami seems oblivious to that expression... or at least chooses to be.]

Yeah, I guess it's fine that everything's mostly okay, but... I hope this city isn't damaging our eyesight or something. That'd be terrible and bad. Terribad.

Haru will have to warn Tsuna-san then! [ Haru obviously believes every word, and has every intention of doing what she says. ]
redcladidealist: (Up at the stars)

[personal profile] redcladidealist 2011-04-10 11:51 pm (UTC)(link)
Huh. I wonder if that makes the rat lucky, or if he regretted it after he got what he wanted.

[His eyes widen slightly.] That's good to know. Poison isn't very easy to cure, especially if you don't have a healer.
