Hellooooooo?

[The screen shows a pair of red eyes staring into the camera. Finally realizing that she was holding the phone too close, the camera was pulled back to reveal a brown-haired girl wearing a pair of red headphones and a black school uniform that may look familiar to some.]

So, I found this phone in my pocket, and I'm wondering if anyone lost it? I mean it is a pretty cool phone. It's can do all these cool things, and this video call function is kinda nifty too. So I'd like to return it to its rightful owner.

[She pauses, looking upwards a bit as she became deep in thought. She then made a small "ah" noise upon realizing something, and looked back down at the camera.]

I almost forgot... Where am I? I didn't know I sleepwalked... This is my first time encountering such a strange thing... Well, anyway, I'd like to go home so could I get directions to----

[As if on cue, her stomach rumbles rather audibly.]

... er, to a nice restaurant? If it's going to be a long trip, I wanna eat first!

[She tilts her head in confusion with a dumbfounded smile on her face.]

It's a little more than that-- everyone gets one when they first find arrive here. Though... this entire place begs for an explanation, huh?

I guess an explanation would be good! I thought I sleepwalked here, but I'm open to other suggestions~

It is, but they're convenient. Everyone here has one, so if you need to get in contact with others, they're definitely the best thing to use.

Hm... 'Sleepwalking' could be a way of putting it. Somarium is a dream world, so we all get here from our dreams.

[And here's the familiar feeling of hoping that she'll take this well.]

... What I'm about to say will likely sound strange, but please believe me when I say it's true.

[A pause]

This isn't your world--it's called a dream world, also known as Somarium. All of us--the people not native to this place, I mean--simply awoke here, like you did.

[There isn't exactly a welcoming community in Somarium yet, though Minato's taken the liberties of welcoming and giving newcomers basic information when he catches them on the network feed. Sometimes he looks at the caller ID, other times he doesn't. They will end up introducing themselves, anyway.]

[This is one of the times that he didn't - though the video feed itself was enough to give him pause.]

[...Whoa okay maybe she DOES look 10 years older, but the hair color and the eyes - the eyes. That upbeat and bright shade of warm vivid auburn are unforgettable.

Except that well. This. How is this possible? She looks his age - well yes, of course, but-

It's rare to get Minato agitated. He can't deny to be that now, however. Caller ID, caller ID...]

[Sure, he's brought upon a miracle already on the last day of January. He made one happen and witnessed it with his own eyes. This... Seeing her like this is certainly a miracle, too. He knows what a miracle is and has long already accepted their existence and the fact that they CAN be achieved. But then, so why is this difficult to accept? It's another sort of miracle, and certainly something to rejoiced for.

...Nah, he knows what's wrong. He's still human, and right now, this is just shock. He can smile until his face falls off in a bit - maybe starting now, as he begins to recover and wonder just what would she think, to see him too.]

[So for now... He'll just greet her like he always did when they were kids. A faint and quiet smile, and a semi-witty and casual remark.]

[She suddenly cuts herself off when she finally gets a good look at this person, her jaw dropping slightly. He looks a lot like...]

[Her bright expression becomes sullen for a moment as she stared at him. No... It can't be. That was impossible. Still... She had this huge nagging feeling...]

[She reverts back to a bright smile. It wouldn't hurt to say something about it, right...?]

Hey, um... This may sound a bit weird, but... You look a lot like someone I know.

By the way, where is here? It doesn't look anywhere near Tatsumi Port Island.

You know, that's actually a really good question. Some say it's a dream world, and that there's people here from all sorts of other universes. All I know is, it's called Somarium.
